About

The name Setara is indonesian for 'equal'. Setara is a utility for synchronizing locations and making backups. It is basically a frontend / GUI for rsync: "rsync is an open source utility that provides fast incremental file transfer"

Besides the functions of rsync it also provides logs of your transfers and gives you the ability to make profiles of the locations you synchronize often.

Setara also provides a SuperKaramba theme. with this theme you can synchronize your locations without having to start the application itself.

The current version of Setara is 0.6.1 Setara is build in Python and uses QT / PyKDE for its GUI.
